The Village of Gilberts Police Department is currently accepting applications for the position of PART-TIME POLICE OFFICER

STARTING SALARY:

$22.30/Hour

Requirements:

1. Must be full or part-time certified police officer through the Illinois Law Enforcement Training and Standards Board. If you are not a currently certified police officer, please do not submit an application.
2. U.S. Citizen
3. High school graduate (or equivalent)
4. Valid FOID Card and valid Illinois Driver's License
5. Good moral character
6. Good mental and physical condition
7. No felony or domestic violence convictions
8. Willing to work 12 hour shifts (6PM to 6AM or 6AM to 6PM), including weekends and holidays.

The candidate must successfully pass a pre-employment oral interview and background investigation at which time a conditional offer of employment will be offered. The candidate must than pass a pre-employment drug screen, physical examination, polygraph examination, and psychological examination.
