  Part-Time: $25.00/hour

Position Details

The Village of Pecatonica is looking to staff its police department to full strength.

We are a small village with small-town values and have a police department that is well respected within our community. We are nestled in a rural area approximately 12 miles west of the Rockford city limits.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid Illinois Law Enforcement Officer certificate from the Illinois Law Enforcement Training and Standards Board or be qualified to take the Illinois Law Enforcement Training and Standards Board "Out of State Reciprocity" requirements and have been a sworn, certified law enforcement officer within the last 3 years preceding the date of application.
• Applicant must be in good standing in the police department for which they serve.
• Must have no felony convictions and be of good moral character.
• Possession of an Illinois Driver's License
• Ability to obtain a FOID card
