Position Details

Come join the Duty, Pride and Tradition of the Hometown Fire Protection District.

The district is seeking to hire motivated Firefighter Paramedics.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS TO APPLY:

• Education: minimum of H.S. diploma or GED Veteran Preference given in hiring process
• Age: Age 21 at time of application
• Illinois or National EMT-P Certification and ability to test into Christ EMS System Basic Operations Firefighter Certification or equivalent
• No felony convictions and good moral character
• No residency requirement
• Valid Illinois Driver's License
• No CPAT needed but preferred for applicants

SELECTION PROCESS:

The selection process includes:

• Orientation
• Oral interviews
• Medical
