  This is an approximately 20 hour per week position with prorated leave benefits. 

Position Details

The Northbrook IL Police Department is seeking a candidate for the position of part-time Community Service Officer.

Duties include:

• Assisting with traffic control
• Parking enforcement
• Preparing and presenting crime prevention and community outreach programs for various age groups
• Infant car seat installations/training
• Animal control calls when animal control officer not on duty
• Private property crash reports
• Other duties as assigned

Candidates should be knowledgeable of police operations and crime prevention.

Position is open until 5:00 p.m. CDT on August 16, 2019.
