VILLAGE OF WHEELING

TELECOMMUNICATOR

The Village of Wheeling Police Department seeks qualified applicants for the position of Telecommunicator to:

Receive calls
Relay messages
Dispatch public safety personnel
Perform related duties for a multi-jurisdictional 9-1-1 center

The center is a 24/7 operation, expectation of working all shifts including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications:

Requires H.S. diploma or equivalent
Ability to speak fluent Spanish desirable
Previous experience preferred
