Position Details

The Village of Orland Hills is accepting applications for Part-Time Police Officer.

Salary:

Potential to earn up to $22.25/hour

The applicant will perform duties to include, but not limited to:

• Enforcing traffic and criminal laws, along with local ordinances
• Supplement full-time staffing
• Be available to attend court
• Be available to work varied shifts, weekends and some holidays

Minimum qualifications to include:

• At least 21 years of age
• Must possess either a full-time, or part-time certification
• U.S. citizen
• Valid drivers license and FOID
• No felony convictions
• High school diploma, or equivalent

Applicant requirements:

• Pass an oral interview
• Pass a background check
• Pass a physical and drug screen
